Our new neighbours moved in to the flat directly below us the day after our Revenge party which we were pretty relieved about because they seemed pretty nice and we didn't want to disturb them. They seemed relieved that we were three girls in our flat because that meant we were nice and quiet. So I was a little concerned about how they would react when we have our next party. But I am concerned no longer. At approximately 10.30pm tonight swarms of people arrived at their flat with bottles of vodka in hand and the party has been in full swing ever since then with no signs of ending until the wee small hours of the morning. So roll on February 5th for Revenge part deux!
It's been quite a productive couple of days. The classes I had been dreading yesterday went pretty smoothly and the teacher that normally makes me want to hang myself wasn't too annoying. I even got a little dose of my much loved Disney when we went to see "Raiponce" aka "Tangled". Then today Emily and I went for a looooong walk all round Reims to do a bit of exploring. We saw parts of the city we'd never seen before and didn't know existed even though they're more or less on our doorstep. There will definitely be more walking getting done.
Then tonight it was Galette des Rois night. I don't know much about this but basically there's a cake with a little plastic figurine baked inside it and whoever gets the figurine in their slice gets to be King and wear the crown that's included. I was positive I'd find the figurine but alas no, it wasn't to be. It was a nice little evening though. Shame it's being ruined with the noise downstairs. Why are they having a party on a school night?!?!?!
